Teaching Philosophy
My role as a teacher is to provide students with the opportunity to discover new things, improve on existing knowledge, and promote life-long learning skills that will be beneficial in the future. I believe that in order for my students to succeed I must be passionate and deeply involved in their learning process, viewing each student’s success as a single entity that encompasses various unique components.
I believe that learning can occur by every individual, recognizing that some require additional supports, interventions, or techniques to reach there maximum success. As a teacher, I want to provide a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment that best compliments all learning styles and needs while continually expanding their palette through curriculum objectives and skills. I want learning to be effective, inviting, and fun; which can be achieved through planning and organization on the teacher’s behalf.

As a teacher, I want to encourage student’s individual beliefs, values, and ideals while teaching them to appreciate differing opinions and become ethical citizens.
I believe that my professional growth is crucial to the success of my students. By consistently setting goals and reflecting, I will be constantly working towards a higher standard.
